And Then There Were Nuns is the fourth book in the League of Literary Ladies mystery series published by Berkley Prime Crime, March 2016.

The national bestselling author of The Legend of Sleepy Harlow returns to South Bass Island, where the League of Literary Ladies has to find out who’s killing off nuns.

B and B owner Bea Cartwright has taken on the responsibility of taking meals to ten visiting nuns, who are on retreat at the Water’s Edge Center for Spirit and Renewal on picturesque South Bass Island on Lake Erie. But the peace of the retreat is shattered when one of the nuns is found at the water’s edge—murdered. And when a second nun is killed, Bea and the other members of the League of Literary Ladies—Chandra, Kate, and Luella—start to wonder about eerie parallels with the Agatha Christie mystery classic, And Then There Were None.

Since Bea has the trust of the sisters, the local chief of police asks her and the other Literary Ladies to interview each of them. Expecting a confession may be asking for a miracle, but Bea hopes she can at least find the killer before another nun gets crossed off the guest list. . .

About the author
Kylie Logan is the author of the best-selling League of Literary Ladies mysteries that feature four warring neighbors who are sentenced to be a book discussion group by a judge who’s tired of them taking each other to court. Their newest adventure is “And Then There Were Nuns.” In May, Kylie will have a new series premiering, the Ethnic Eats mysteries. Book #1 is “Irish Stewed.” She lives in Ohio near where both series are set, and also writes the Pepper Martin mysteries as Casey Daniels. Don’t tell Jerry Garcia, but she much prefers dogs to cats, and enjoys spending time with her Airedale, Ernie.

This is a PS to my earllier post…I loved the puzzle, but need to know #2. How do we recognize Jerry Garcia? I know he wears a tie dye scarf, but that doesn’t fit in the puzzle. Also he is always sitting on or by books. What is the correct answer? Thanks for the help, it is bugging me! :p

  26. Kylie here. So nice to check in with all of you. The person who asked about the scarf . . . think about another word for a cotton square tied around the head or neck. And the reader who mentioned nuns . . . hey, 13 years of Catholic education here. I think that’s one of the reasons this was so much fun!
